I was prescribed Protonix and Nexium to treat a painful stomach issue called gastroesophageal reflux. It worked well for me. My doctor recommended Protonix but I was put on a different medication which I believe is a better choice. I was given a prescription for a brand name medication that was supposed to treat GERD and was prescribed this product by a doctor. I am so glad I received this product and the positive reviews are what made me feel better.
